Accompaniment
Jane has been working as a freelance accompanist, both in London and in Sydney, for over fifteen years. She has appeared in recitals, accompanying soloists, choirs and instrumentalists, and has accompanied on the piano, pipe organ and Celtic harp. She is currently employed as Accompanist at one of the major lower North Shore private schools, where she accompanies all school practical examinations up to and including the HSC, in addition to regularly accompanying students for A.M.E.B. exams.
Jane brings this experience to her work, and combines it with thoughtfulness and consideration which puts all her students at their ease. As well as accompanying the requisite pieces, Jane prepares students for the aural and general knowledge components of their examinations, and provides coaching to enhance the child’s performance and musicality.
